Selling your house to move across the country is a scaring and stressful endeavor. It makes it a lot easier when you are working with someone you can trust. Owen is a real class act- honesty, integrity and character are what he is all about. He is also really smart, well prepared and not afraid to work hard! The agent who represented the buyer of our house was pretty much the opposite of Owen- inexperienced, incompetent, and mostly unreachable- all without his client ever knowing how bad of a job he was doing for her. Because of this, Owen really had to work hard to make sure our deal went through. He made it a seamless experience for us to close on our house, even though we had already moved across the country by that point. In the end, I felt like Owen did the work of both agents! I highly recommend you talk to Owen if you are considering buying or selling a house in the Palo Alto, CA area.

My sister and I wanted to go on record and say that Owen Halliday did a wonderful job of selling our Mother's house in Palo Alto. We couldn't have been more pleased.
We interviewed four different real estate agents and chose Owen because he seemed to be the most honest and wanted to do things the right way. During the whole process, he never did anything to change our minds about his ethics and morals.
We had our asking price in mind and we got it, even in what was considered not the most favorable market conditions. Owen went out of his way to explain the process and was with us every step. He was also extremely supportive and friendly the entire time. We have no regrets and certainly would recommend Owen to anyone who wanted to sell or purchase a home.

His customer service skills are excellent, as he goes above and beyond his call of duty. For example, finding a mobile notary to provide notary service for an ill client who is house bound. Another example is recognizing time efficiency for his clients by signing off at his office in Palo Alto rather than at the title company in South San Jose. He attends sign offs with his clients and is on top of the schedule keeping in touch with the title company, mortgage broker and clients. He patiently answers client’s questions.
